Resourcefulness is where our creativity, alchemy and capacity for emergence partners with reality. 

Whether it’s a challenge or opportunity - extreme or subtle - our resourcefulness takes us into a more intimate and impactful relationship with life.

It is one of my favourite qualities. It is at the heart of our capacity to be more dynamically functional in our own lives — with less fear and more curiosity.

I wanted to make an art-alchemy piece to support the cultivation and contemplation of resourcefulness as it is one of the 3 Fembot Oracles that we are journeying with for this lunar cycles Fembot Oracle Alchemy Journey. 

I made this movement piece and images using the spontaneous movement work, Deetell, that is at the centre of my practice as an artist.

The music that accompanies each of the pieces was made by the artist Gary Albert. He recorded my voice singing in Deetell, and turned it into an instrument. Using that instrument he created this drone/chord arrangement.

I have made 3 versions of the piece. One with a forward expression of the movement - one in reverse (R), and one combining a left and right mirrored and reverse version together.

12-12 Portal Support Piece

Tomorrow is the 12-12 portal for 2020. It marks the final portal this year as we approach the solar eclipse and the solstice. This is a time of profound change as we come into 2021 and say goodbye to the radically transformative 2020.

I have created this art alchemy piece to support us before, during and after this time of transformation.Simply sit with the piece and notice what arises.

“As you move from the energy of the lunar eclipse that uncovered hidden aspects of your journey, things that you may have been willfully blind to or that were kept from you until the timing was right….the energy of the portal beckons. There has been an ongoing theme of opening to both release & receive, allowing space to be made for the messages coming to you & the abundance that which you have been calling in. The flow of energy is guiding you from the moonlit shadow of the lunar eclipse towards the illumination of the solar eclipse coming hot on the heels of the portal, offering even more clarity around all that has been shown to you. 

Shadow work has intensified & many have felt the need to go even deeper into shadows that were already addressed, this beautifully illustrates the start of the clarity as we realise how often we are connected not to source or the universe or higher self, but to the ego cleverly manipulating us to 'keep us safe' within the limits of what we already know, even in regards to how much shadow work or releasing we are comfortable with. 

Growth is often a process, and as you leverage the energy of the portal the guidance offered is that of support for action taken in a mindful way. Building on the energy of the 11 /11 portal that assisted in the merge of the inner masc/fem energies giving access to more tools to work with as you answer the call to service, this asks you to think about that call. 

How you communicate has been highlighted, new ways of understanding the variety of communication, not just speech, all forms are valid & each of you will have noticed a way that works better than you had imagined. This can be incorporated into your purpose, this first step on the path to the new world is preparing you for the solstice when things are going to get even more exciting.

Think of your journey through the portal as a chance to really notice how you are connecting with others how you use the tools within you to guide, support & enjoy those connections. It is through this heightened awareness that you will notice the clarity of the messages coming in as well as your sense of self. Use the time to honour yourself as you reflect on the year in which so many major shifts have taken place, when you have felt called to work in new ways, to reassess your needs & tweak your manifestations. Now you recognise that it is safe to release that which doesn't serve you, even that which you manifest, if it arrives & you realise it isn't quite what you meant. 

You are discovering more about yourself with each step of the way & just like the rest of the year it is a dance, not a sprint to the finish line, lean into the rhythm & listen to the tempo change pause as needed without guilt or fear you will be left behind. You are building and that takes time. Embrace who you are, be excited as you anticipate who you are becoming & open to the idea of completely new perspectives that apply to every aspect of life from shadow work, to the way you put your message out to the world... It has been the most amazing adventure & we are nowhere near the end.”

11-11 Portal Support

For those of you going through the 11-11 portal tomorrow here is another collaboration between me and the mystic Victoria Fryer @xanthemakes3 on Instagram. I created the artpiece and Victoria has written this powerful text to be used in tandem for support. The text is continued in the pinned comments beneath this section 

“This image is for the portal & as such is not only for twin flames & those who recognise they are in deep soul contract connections, this year we are asked to look at the masc/fem energy within all of us, to find not just balance between them, but to merge those energies & then separate them so that they now have a balance within each. 

You will still identify as masc or fem predominantly but the way in which that energy comes through is changed, the masculine softened, a power that is less combative more thoughtful about the need to take action, & the action taken, the feminine less passive, strength from a deep knowing that the power to act is there, infinite abundant & can be accessed at any point. This lends weight to both of their approaches a confidence that is less ego more a shoring up of healthy boundaries & the ability to be adaptable within them rather than caged by them. 

The knowledge that though merged they retain the characteristics that define them & tap into that which the other can offer, a sharing that is like the temperance card, the alchemy of the mix that is making something greater. As they separate again they remain joined energetically through cords of light that enable the flow between them, whilst granting the autonomy that is needed to act without codependency.

This is not just learning how to be your own stability, your own safe place &  find acceptance of your wholeness dark & light, it goes deeper into where that need comes from & how each of us sees this stability. 

What would this unconditional love, acceptance & safety look like, feel like to each individual. 
We have the tools within each of us to create that, but often we are hampered by the need to reach for the vision of other more dominant conditioning, the shadows of childhood or more recent past, how you felt you needed to live up to an image that was not, in fact your own. By finding the balance within we are able to see more clearly what it is we are on the path to create & as we do the foundation is laid for the call to service many have felt but couldn't answer from where they were. 

This portal energy will support you with unconditional love, allowing you to both explore the masc/fem within you & if in connection with a twin or soulmate, the energy within them & the dance of those energies. This pathway will give you the void space of safety in which to remove any masks & feel vulnerable in your truth, to see & feel the shape of you & what you are becoming together or alone. 

That balance of energy within you will begin to feel possible, as you open to the messages of guidance & support from the universe as light codes, signs, song lyrics or anything that moves you, the way forward is made clear the energy welcoming as you release any last remnant of the tethers that hold you separate within & outside of yourself, that keep you from feeling the unity in which you belong. 

This journey is not a race, not a competition & those who have leveraged the energy of the portals previously will know the wonderful feeling of flow as you move towards the entry point, as the energy beckons you are given the choice to walk towards or to stay where you are, whatever you choose is right for you at this time. 

Note that if you are in connection & one person does not feel called to the portal this is also right for you both. You may access the energy alone & though they will feel an echo of what you do, they will not feel pulled or forced into this experience with you. This is the energy of love & with it acceptance of the fact that even as twin flames you have your own path & your own timeline which will converge when it is meant to. There is no guilt attached to either decision, enter the portal with the mindset of unconditional love & the flow will be even more welcoming.

Be gentle with yourself as you experience all of the feelings associated with the opening, releasing & shedding of outgrown skin, it will not be totally comfortable but it is a process that we welcome because the freedom of stretching once that skin is shed is something longed for. 

Breathe into it, lean into the energy of support during the first stage of this journey, then once you feel ready step forward in your truth, the new skin raw & tingling, to feel the shape of the energy within you shifting. The supporting energy around you now will be cradling you, allow it, there is no judgement as you approach this stage. 

he masc/fem balance may need work here & you will have the opportunity to look at any imbalance, shadow or block, let all emotions surface, without resistance, cry if you need to laugh move dance feel everything that is offered up to you now, when the shadow emerges welcome it, allow it to be seen felt acknowledged-if this proves to be difficult you will have time to work with it after the portal, shadow work is lifelong & can be incremental at this point just get to a place of acceptance of this part of you & notice the balance shift.

Recognise which energy you identify with as predominantly masculine or feminine (regardless of gender) then feel them begin to dance to move together (twins or those connected will feel this outside as well as within as they relearn the shape of their connection & how the balance affects it). This is a time to be aware of any new sensations messages or signs, they may be subtle so just be open.

As the void space you occupy in the portal, becomes smaller it is to encourage the merge of energies, you may feel a moment of fear as ego steps in to try to keep you 'safe' in the old outgrown comfort zone, this is merely a pause a glance over your shoulder to remember where you have come from, those steps on your path are valid, those lessons needed & you can be grateful for this chance to look back, then turn towards the future you are creating & breathe deeply as you feel the energy merge, the masc/fem blending the edges blur & you are whole within & without. Relax into this & allow anything to surface that needs to, more releasing to make space to allow room to shift & grow. Take a moment to recognise this space within you & then let the merged masc/fem fill it. There will be a feeling of deep peace & love which may be physical or just emotional, there is no right or wrong, just feel & accept all.

As you move towards the next viod space you will feel the pull to separate the energies within, thus is happening as it should you need do nothing, just allow be open & relaxed. Twins or those in connection may feel themselves step back from each other but notice the energy cords that bond you. You are not codependent you have your autonomy & the choice to now work together in a deeper way to answer your call to service.

Those alone will feel a clarity around what their calling looks like though it may not be completely recognisable for a while yet, you will have a recognition of yourself as both whole & part of a unity of consciousness that is the great song, feel the support the love & connection of all & pass it on. As you feel the energy dissipate make time for a rest physically, you may feel elated & want to rush about but it would be helpful to rest & just enjoy the feelings as they rise up within you. Journal or sketch, do something that you enjoy to anchor the experience & share it with anyone you feel able to, you can write or call someone who has also been called to the portal & support each other in the aftermath. All of the things you experience are valid & no experience is greater or less than another, the idea of sharing is to enjoy the diversity which also anchors that acceptance & unity.”

I’m very excited to be speaking at this great event on Saturday at The Colour Factory in Hackney Wick, London in aid of Papyrus - the youth suicide prevention charity. I’ll be talking about practices we can specifically use to support us to deepen our creativity as well as taking everyone through a hands-on guided mini-workshop in using The Fembot Oracle as a practical everyday transformative tool. ‘Freedom’ (Lions Gate 2020 Support Piece No. 2)

Here is the second video piece Gary Albert and I created to support those of us journeying through the Lions Gate portal today. Our intention in creating this piece was to have a tool we could all use to support the deeper arising of freedom before, during and after the journeying.

My piece was made from 4 watercolour drawings capturing heart-centred spontaneous movement. I combined them in Photoshop and after 2.5 hours of listening to and enacting the whispered instructions of my heart uncovered the finished piece.

Lions Gate 2020 Support Piece

In this piece, Gary and I fused his Music Alchemy with my Art Alchemy to create an energetic technology to support those wishing to enter through the Lions Gate Portal on 8/8/2020. As always both the art work and the music were created in a space of heart-centred spontaneity.

The Lions Gate has ties to ancient Egypt and for thousands of years has been observed and honoured as a time of a great transmutation. 2020 has been a profoundly challenging and transformative year for so many of us, calling forth resourcefulness and creativity at a level many of us have never known. Even though the Lions gate window of transformation has been recognised and explored by various cultures for thousands of years and will most likely continue to be - I feel this year is particularly impactful.

This astrological gateway is marked by an alignment between the Earth and the star Sirius. As the star Sirius rises in the sky, Orions Belt directly aligns with the Pyramid of Giza, and from our perspective on Earth, it appears that Sirius (the brightest star we can see) comes closer to the Earth.The star Sirius is twice the size of our Sun and 26x brighter.

In 2020 this period of heightened transformation started on the 26th July and runs through to the 18th August. 

On the 8th of August, the energies ramp up and a portal becomes available for those who want to enter it. It offers a profound transmutation of huge amounts of dense material that many of us have dragged around for generations. 

Whilst it sounds great on paper to have a profound release it isn’t necessarily for everyone. To release the baggage we have to be done with it at a deep level of learning. If we haven’t then we are letting go of our diamonds in the rough without having realised them - which we simply can’t and won’t do. You will know in your heart if you are ready to step through it on the 8th. If not then perhaps next year.

By making the clear intention to step through the portal on the 8th and release that which we have deeply explored we invite circumstance to shine a very intense light upon that which we are still exploring. This by definition will invite some sublimely innovative ‘tests’. To support those of us that have decided to journey through the portal this year Gary and I have made this piece for you.

I recommend watching it on a daily basis through the period to the 18th. Even if you don’t decide to step through the portal this year our hope is that it will support you in exquisite transformation during these powerful times of change.

A new teacher and artist friend of mine Victoria (@xanthemakes3 on Instagram) has been supporting me profoundly pre-portal with deep shadow+ work and has taught me that you can use any doorway in your home to mark a threshold as it is a portal created by our intention. If there are 2 trees that you love you can draw a line either physically or in your minds eye between them and step across it - that’s what I’ll be doing. Looking forward to hearing any feedback on how you are exploring this period and what impact our piece has for you.
